Blue: Day 5 of the 31 Day Challenge

As soon as I saw my new Cheeky plates I thought 'sea'. So 'blue day' is a very good excuse huh?

Illamasqua's Jo'mina - Lilac and Silver Stamping Studded

A quick one  - and an old one. I just found it in my files and while now I can see how bad the lighting and the clean up is, I still like the idea. I might  redo this someday! It was also my first use of studs and I found them really difficult to use - as shown by the marks on the accent nail. I shall have to try some different application techniques (I was using tweezers)! Any ideas anyone?

Kendal Calling Lightning Strikes Stamping

It has been quite on the blog front for the the past week and a bit and I am very sorry for that. I was away for close to a week to go to a festival  - Kendal Calling! If I went again I'd go see more music! I had some laughs, embarrassed myself and made some new friends. My laptop might have to go away soon as it now really hates talking to the wifi box - hoping I can time that with when I go away for a guiding Jamboree!

So onto the nails... This was the design I went camping with - hoping to be able to easily adapt them with a glitter frenchie. I loved the design itself and this is definitely one of my favourites from BM 2012 collection!

Favorite Stamp with a Half Moon

So this my entry for Adventures in Stamping challenge - your favourite new stamp. I had been lacking inspiration for a while so I went through my collection trying to find interesting polishes and I found these two! I haven't done a half moon since my very first try at nail art so I've been wanting to try it again for a while and I thought it was the perfect way to incorporate the two polishes.

Cult Nails with Yet more Owls for Sunday Challenge!

Yes, this post is extremely late. Just a couple of days work and having to do a few organising jobs and paper work has sent me completely out of whack! And sunshine would be a great plus as well - it's been missing the past few days! I'll be playing catch up now and setting up a few drafts so this shouldn't happen again!

This was a Adventures in Stamping Challenge - 'Something that I love'. Of course - I'd just received my Bundle Monster 2012 plates and I love owls! This was the plate I was most looking forward to out of the collection.

My first ever blog post!

Well I can't believe I'm actually doing this, but I'll give it a go! My plan is to post 2 times a week, and I mainly create nail art with stamping as the main focus - but I'm definitely looking forward to trying out new techniques!

My first nail art is also from my first challenge from Adventures in Stamping on Facebook. The challenge was Goth. And I just love these colours together so when my mum gave me the idea of bats against the night's sky I immediately  knew which ones I'd choose!
