Animal pattern: Day 13 of the 31 Day Challenge

I basically went through my whole collection and found every animal print I could. I couldn't quite decide on the colours so I did both hands! (Anyone know how to turn a picture around?! Grrr). So there is a leopard, snake, poisonous frog, zebra and giraffe print! Sorry for the horrible picture right here... its very hard to get both hands in one shot even when your mum's taking the picture!

Stripes: Day 12 of the 31 Day Challenge

This to me was a blatant excuse to try use my striping brush, and what better way than to do stripes upon stripes upon stripes. I had also just put all my polishes on the floor (below) and sorting them into a colour order again just made me want to use them all!

 This made be chuckle...

I'm not gonna list all those polishes - there was at least 30! And here's my collection - over 100 now... going to be buying some polish racks soon for my new room! Doesn't even seem that much. Only had about 6 at Easter... its only September.

Polka Dots: Day 11 of the 31 Day Challenge

I am back to *kind* of normal posting! From now on I should at have all my equipment with me anyways...

These were done very quickly after the train home. A combo I've wanted to try for a while - you can see the pink sheen in my nude base, Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude (previously untried) which I thought  would match the pink, Sally Hansen Insta Dry Presto Pink, pretty well... but the match didn't show on the camera at all... So imagine it for me huh? Here's the pink shine:

Now imagine that pink shimmer with this dotticure on top:

Ugh. My camera does not like pink.
And so I dislike the results of this manicure but its pretty in real life and while doing it I got a lot of new ideas for some new dotticure's to try after the challenge is over. Now I am going to go crash and get up ready to buck my ideas up for tomorrow's challenge. Stripes!

Gradient: Day 10 of the 31 Day Challenge

This is a combo I've never tried before but I had a spark and I just couldn't help myself! I think a lighter grey would have been better, but I still love them! Who can say no to glittering pink tips?

Rainbow: Day 9 of the 31 day Challenge

This was an idea I had seen a while ago - using a fan brush with acrylics to create a softer stripe look. Again this is one set of the nails I did in a rush - but I still missed the sunlight. Therefore I am not impressed with my own work - but I will try this technique out again. The black is once more Cult Nail's Nevermore, using striping tape.

Metalllic: Day 8 of the 31 Day Challenge

I love this polish!! I hadn't tried this before and I didn't have any ideas for this challenge (and and incredible lack of time) so I decided to keep it simple....

I loved this polish so much I immediately put it on my toes! Application was a dream, and the name fits too!

Black and White: Day 7 of the 31 Day Challenge

Just a quick one - arrived back in Newcastle at my new house! So of course - party time!

I wish I could of done some of them again... but I did 7 challenges in the same day so I could take a break while in Newcastle so... I was in a race for sunlight! I love the classic black and white block patterns, so this was a very good way to test out my new Cheeky Mega Plate!
