Violet: Day 6 of the 31 Day Challenge

I had quite a few different ideas for this day. And then such brilliant sunshine came out yesterday that I immediately thought of a combo of 2 untried polishes I've been wanting to try!

In a combination similar to my previous work, here's another A England holo stamp:

Blue: Day 5 of the 31 Day Challenge

As soon as I saw my new Cheeky plates I thought 'sea'. So 'blue day' is a very good excuse huh?

Green: Day 4 of the 31 Day Challenge

I wanted to keep the nail art going for the colours - so of course tape had to come out! So - here's some chevrons!

Yellow: Day 3 of the 31 Day Challenge + Cheeky Plate Arrivals

I was very excited to see new arrivals in the post today - Cheeky ones!!! I immediately stamped over my previous mani (+updated photo and first thoughts) and realised immediately what I'd do for today's mani! BANANAS! The smudging is due to me trying to catch the sunlight - but oh well - they're a little furry ;)

Orange Nails: Day 2 of the 31 Day Challenge

*UPDATE: Cheeky Plates arrival at bottom*

Already a day late ;) I waited until the next morning to take some more photos, hoping that with natural light I would be able to get some true colour pictures of this gradient. No such luck. Changing all the settings on my camera could still not show the neon-like quality to these polishes!
Sally-hansen-insta-dry-snappy-sorbet-nyx-orange-glitter-orange-gradient-day-2

I only used Snappy Sorbet as a base as I thought NYX's orange glitter would be very sheer and wouldn't work very well - I was astounded by how well it sponged on! Still glad I did the gradient as I think it did add something to it.

I even tried a video, still doesn't really show it:

***Cheeky plate arrival! I had to try out some stamping with a holiday theme due to the carnival brightness of these nails! Not immediately impressed with the results - but maybe I need to try them out some more - try some different techniques/polishes. More stamping to come with these - I'm loving the designs!

You do realise it's not autumn yet? + Day 1 of the 31 Day Challenge

Just yesterday evening I learned that there's going to be a few bloggers joining in the 31 day nail art challenge with Polished Criminails. After a short deliberation I have decided to do it - it helps the post I scheduled fitted into the contest! I am looking forward to this to make myself try new things and to maybe make a few new blogger friends, so although September is a busy month for me I'm looking forward to pushing myself and my skills.

I can't tell you how in love I am in with A-Englands Perceval. I don't normally wear reds, but this one? It's just that pretty! I wore it for a couple of days by itself - but then I couldn't resist some stamping!

It felt a bit boring so I randomly decided to place the stamps at different places on each nail. Not entirely sure that really worked, but I still like it, and I will definitely be using this colour combo later in the year!
